Know the Lawyer

The Law Offices of John M. Phillips

Our firm believes that everyone deserves justice and the finest legal representation at a fair price (not the maximum price) and to be treated with respect and personal attention- to personally know their lawyer.

John’s grandfather and great grandfather practiced law in a world that was less about “self” and the dollar and more about advocating for those that needed someone trustworthy to fight for them. John’s mission is to help people one-by-one and develop friendships with his clients along the way. Personal attention is still available in the practice of law.

John is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale, a company rating lawyers since the 1800’s. He was recently awarded “Top Lawyer” in Jacksonville’s 904 Magazine, listed in Ponte Vedra Recorder’s Who’s Who in Law and selected as the Best Lawyer in Jacksonville by the readers of the Folio Weekly for 2011 and 2012.  He was also selected as one of the top 100 trial lawyers in the state by the National Trial Lawyers Association, is rated 10/10 by Avvo and is a multiple time Super Lawyer/Rising Star according to SuperLawyers Magazine.  He has the legal experience and resources to properly use the justice system to help clients, having represented both sides of these disputes for many years. He’s the first to admit credentials are secondary to ethical service and desires to change the way people think about lawyers.

John will personally come to you around your schedule and talk about your injury, loss of a loved one or other problem. We practice all over North Florida and South Georgia, including Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Fernandina, Brunswick, St. Augustine, Gainesville, Savannah, Daytona and more.
