The Shark Tank of Shark Tanks: Law Based Start-Ups Suffer Steep Declines in Investors
I was recently discussing the field of legal startups with an intern here at the Law Offices of John M. Phillips. I was under the impression that law related, technological startups, was a fairly untapped niche in an otherwise over saturated area (technology driven) of start up ventures. I was wrong.
According to TechCrunch.com, last year over $150 million was invested into 57 major tech related legal start-ups. This year, that number has sharply declined as investors have become reluctant to invest in legal-tech startups. Read more at Tech Crunch.com
