Mid-Week Motivation

by Sam Ranard

So far from Monday, yet so far from Friday. The uncanny gap in time, the hurdle that stands between you, your paycheck and playoff football. The probably-worse-than-Monday-day called Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday wore you down, Thursday and Friday still lay ahead, taunting you from their late week thrones. So to lift you up, before you go, Courts & Sports would like to hit you with a little Mid-week motivation.

“Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.”          -Winston Churchill

“I was never the popular kid growing up. In fact, I was often the bullied one. As my family traveled across this country, I always looked for the eyes of kids like me who were underestimated; yet smiled. And I still do. I have nothing to prove to any of you. You don’t either. Prove it to yourself. Don’t let life live you. Live it.” – John M. Phillips, Courts & Sports

Uncomfortable v. Exhaustion

“If you’ve never failed, you’ve never lived”

The Baddest

A cheesy song, agreed, but the lyrical quality is there.

It’s your life, live it. Start today.

When faced with a task that seems too difficult, a deadline that is coming up quick, or you have peers, a boss or co-workers doubting you, just think of this picture and remind yourself, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this.”
